I've come to the realization that my students are everywhere.

I see them walking. I see them waving "hello" from blocks away. I see them stopped at intersections. I see them at grocery stores. I see them while out to eat. I see them when I open my apartment door. Even the "shortcut" I attempted to take home this afternoon led right through a playground full of them. I can't get away!

This isn't a bad thing at all. In fact, I really enjoy seeing my students everywhere. It makes me more conscious of my actions, and helps me define the type of role model I want to be.

It makes my soul smile to know my students are everywhere. Even when I can't see them, I can hear them screaming, clapping, singing and laughing right outside my window.
