Update: Fahrenheit is now closed.
For craft drinks and Mexican fusion food in Yangon, Myanmar, head to Fahrenheit Cafe and Bar. It's open daily from 5 to 11PM, and is the perfect pre-party place to be in the city.
Prices for both food and drinks are quite reasonable. Watch for promotions such as "$1 Taco Night" on Mondays, and $3 cocktails from 4-7PM every Friday. Enjoy an array of Mexican flavors such as chips and guacamole, quesadillas, tacos, and burritos with a twist. My absolute favorite is the pork burrito, and I can normally be found shoving it my face in some corner of the bar. Vegetarian options are also available.
What I love most about Fahrenheit; however, is its warm ambiance and modish decor. A bustling crowd almost always gathers, and a familiar, friendly face isn't hard to spot. Locals and expats alike seem to find Fahrenheit one of Yangon's best new additions to the bar and cafe scene.

How to Get to Fahrenheit's Former Location:
Fahrenheit Cafe and Bar is located at 38 Bogyoke Road in Yangon. Look for neon lights and a lively buzz at the end of Bogyoke, right after 52nd and Bohtataung Pagoda roads.
